MY NEW FRIDAY NIGHT ACTIVITY

I played football last night. It is something to do on my Friday nights, it gives me exercise, plus I get to meet new people, both Japanese and international. It lasted from 6-9pm, a bit too long for me, but afterwards I went out for dinner with the other honoury female, so it was well worth it. We had a lovely dinner too, we ended up entering into one of the traditional Japanese eating houses. This wasn't Macdonalds! We had to take our shoes off to get to out table, which was suspended above a hole in the floor, so although we sat on the ground, our legs could dangle down.

NEW FRIEND

Today I met a new girl. We were sat on neighbouring tables in a cafe together, for over three hours, while we studied. Then right at the end we struck up conversation. we discovered we were the same age. then we discovered we were born in the same month. and then in the same week. amazing hey! she goes to the cafe every week, to do her book-keeping work, so i hope to see her again. we also swapped contact details.

ME AND ONE OF MY FRIENDLY HOUSEMATES! This is me and karei, one of the girls in my house. we have just climbed a mountain and behind us is Kyoto!
